A fully renovated kitchen/dining room on parlor floor of townhouse. The kitchen cabinets are fabricated in caramelized bamboo with Verde Karzai granite counter tops, white frosted glass subway tile backsplash and stainless steel apron sink.
Due to the desire by the client for additional storage and the high ceilings, two levels of upper cabinets were provided. The top level of upper cabinets have translucent polycarbonate paneled doors with internal illumination. The refrigerator received a chalkboard door panel and the freezer received a corkboard door panel to provide the artist visitors to the house a place to doodle and post notices.
Due to the social nature of the client, The kitchen/dining room also contained a bar, and a dj booth. The vinyl records were stored in new shelving in the living room. A matching cart was provided to transport the desired selection of records from the living room to the dj booth. The back door was decorated by artist friend of the client.
